I have experienced as a caregiver for 15 years now> I started in Israel taking care of 2 old lady for 2 and half years until and moved to Canada and worked there as a nanny to two 6 and 4 year old girls. Then I moved here in the United states and been working as a caregiver since, the shortest time that I was with a patient was 3 and half years and the longest was almost 5 years. I always stayed in one patient and had build and strong relationship that most of them consider me as part of their family. I love being a caregiver because I am able to enjoy and learn from them a lot. Being with them taught me a deeper understanding that the job we do requires compassion, love and respect for them.. My greatest achievement that I am so proud of are all the lessons that I have learned taking care of different kind of people, The appreciation I got for taking care of someone is something I consided a great achievement. I am 47 years old, married, no kids, love to sing and love to learn new things.. I completed my Nursing Assistant training and I am now on my LVN nursing program on the reviewing phase in preparation for the licensing exam. I am cheerful, loving and compassionate person.

I like helping elderly. Its a fun job, challenging but rewarding. I have working in this field for many years and I am proud that so many lives had been changed, and lifted up through me. A life of 90 years old man who could not take care himself and the family were so busy, and he was able to survive for seven years. I have been caregiver and CNA for more than ten years. I have worked in nursing homes, hospital and private duty in California, then I moved to Colorado for better future, Unfortunately my family won't move there because of cold weather. So at this time I'm back to California to be together with my family and looking for a job here.
