The thing that makes me a great caregiver/CNA is my ability to listen and connect with the client I am working with. I am fascinated with people that come from all walks of life and love to hear their stories about how they came to be. Being a caregiver allows me to do just this while at the same time, I have a chance to take care of a community that is dear to me. My grandfather spent the last years of his life in a nursing facility which is a main reason why I chose this path. Being able to be there and care for people in their most dire situations is a commitment I enjoy doing.
