I take great pride in what I do, it's very rewarding for me. Why? Because I'm good at it. everyday is a new experience,to give the best care, to make them safe, comfortable and independent as possible aging being sick is hard ,scarey and it's frustrating and embarrassing. it's hard when they can no longer care for themselves or communicate properly And that's where my specialty comes in. I'm not in a rush to just get job done I take the time to sit down and listen, I observe, I find out why there angry or frustrated, and I try to help to the best of my ability. family as well because it's not only is it hard on the one needing care but we tend to forget the husband, wife, son, daughter n so forth that are giving care or searching in need of care for there loved one it's allot of stress A family member should not have to have stress knowing your loved one needs care. I will provide proper training, to other nurses, if needed hire, supervise, scheduledocumentation, machines and equipment, doctor appointments, meals, housekeeping,ordering supplies, whatever it is that I can assist with that I have knowledge of I will help. It's what were suppose to do. Life is so much better when people actually care. I just want to treat others how I want to be treated if I was in that position, I give care how I would want care, I do what's rightI'm blunt and honest. I use common sense and humor. Nobody wants to live there days alone, I'm here to bring joy, laughter and company to your loved one all the way to the end.
