I became a Nursing Assistant because I believe that there are a lot of people out there that take this job (caregiving of any sort) for granted. In this type of position I take pride in caring for my patients. I think of it as if it were myself needing the help, how would I want to be cared for..? And that is what drives me to always do better and stick up for my patients. I love being able to make a positive difference in someones life, even if it is as simple as helping them from wheelchair to bed and giving them a sense of independence in the transfer. I have primarily worked with Alzheimers/Dementia patients and brain trauma/spinal cord patients in my practice and this has given me a very wide range of tips and tricks that I can apply to any form of care. I can promise that I will always give you my absolute best work if we become partners on this journey!
