I initially became a caregiver when my grandmother moved to our hometown. She had a progressive form of Multiple Sclerosis and I knew I could provide her the care and companionship that she desired. I've always wanted to help people and this field allows me to do so! I enjoy being there for individuals who may not have family close by. Being a caregiver is far more than someone who assists in ADL'S. You're a friend and become part of the family. A personal achievement that I'm proud about is completing my cosmetology degree while being pregnant. It took hard work and dedication. I believe that I am a warm soul. I look to make anyone's life more comfortable and take initiative in doing things before I am asked. I take great pride in being a hard worker!
