Worked As a cna in health care for 24 years. Have worked for major hospitals like scripps hospital and Uscd in La Jolla and tri city and Anaheim memorial and Long Beach memorial and radys children hospital and Orange County children's hospital.
The main reason I became a caregiver is because I want to make a difference in someone's life. I also just enjoy working with people and taking care of and assisting those who may have difficulty with certain activities. I have worked in both a facility and home setting, but I enjoy the home setting because I am able to be one on one with my patient to make deeper connections. I pay attention to detail and I'm very patient, I understand that sometimes there may be changes in plans and that things may not always go as planned, but I can adjust to any situation and make decisions that are best for my patient. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I was able to become certified as a nursing assistant and as a home health aid, while working part time and going to school full time.
