I have a big heart and a very caring nature. I love helping the elderly stay at home and being a companion to them. I am honest, trustworthy, respectful, friendly and reliable. I began my caregiving career as a skilled CNA in a nursing home at the Care Center in Oakdale. Once I perfected my skills and with the proper work-methods, I resumed my work ethics at Oak Valley Hospital in the Rehabilitation Center; and was promoted by The Director of Nursing to a RNA position ( Restorative Nursing Assistant) working directly with professionals such as PT, PTA, Speech Specialists, RNs and Doctors. It was my absolute pleasure to see my patients regain their health and return home to loved ones. With my acquired experience and knowledge, great compassion and kindness, I became an independent caregiver and have worked as a private caregiver for over 15 yrs. I love what I do. I have met many wonderful clients and family loved ones; and graciously, I have received many letters of recognition. Through my caregiving process, I have worked diligently along side Hospice, applying my nursing skills to bring comfort to dying patients. My goal is to bring a quality of life to my clients with much joy and with a compassion filled with gentle kindness. I am compassionate and empathetic. I genuinely care for my fellow man. I am a good listener who pays attention to detail and I'm self-sufficient. I've completed training in the following courses through The Public Authority of Santa Clara County, Last phase of life, mental health, nutrition, personal care, pre-paramedical, Alzheimer's & Dementia Basics, first aid, diabetes, and CPR, to name a few. Being the oldest, and only girl of 4, I Inherited the role of caregiver at a very young age. I started as a babysitter and later in life gravitated towards adult care. I have remained a caregiver because I enjoy meeting people from different parts of the world and hearing their lives experiences, their knowledge, and the wisdom they often share. For me, there's no greater satisfaction than going home at the end of my workday knowing that my presence made a difference in someone else's day and that I am appreciated.

Personally to be a successful caregiver I feel you have to be very dependable, my clients know that I'm willing to do anything to make sure they are happy & satisfied with my work. Confidence is important as well, making your client look & feel good about themselves is something I always strive to do!
