Hello my name is Shamia. I have found my passion in helping others and making sure that the quality of life for seniors is the best it can be. I care about providing joy, privacy, and independence to clients. I am CPR certified. I am a compassionate, positive, and extremely reliable caregiver who pays great attention to detail. I assist with companionship, bathing, grooming, incontinence care, medication management, dressing, meal preparation, feeding, transfers, housekeeping, and transportation. I have experience with everything from companion care to those who need total care. I just graduated from high school (and will be attending CSU East Bay in September majoring in Nursing) , but I have lots of experience from spending spring break and summer's with my grandmother who is in her 80s and loves to play dominos, cards , and cooks. I also take care of my mom who has beat breast cancer twice, and has a various amount of medical problems to Asthma from Congestive Heart Failure. I am very enjoyable to be around and will keep a smile on your face. and would love to meet an older adult who needs help with things or just somebody to socialize with.
