Being a caregiver takes alot of patience and alot of respect. I started being a caregiver because I believe the elderly are so wise, they have so much to say. And of course because I love to take care of others, and like to see them smile because they know they will always have me (caregiver) to keep them company. I started off as a volunteer, and I remember hearing all different kinds of stories of the patient(s) past lifes, and what they did for careers, just amazed me and made me want to be more involved.
