I've been a caregiver for about a year total. I took a CNA course when I first graduated high school not knowing what I was really wanting to do for a career. Once I started clinical I fell in love. I loved being able to help the patients be independent and feel like their voices were still being heard. I loved being able to be their companion and seeing their faces light up when talking about their hobbies. I always get told how sweet of a person I am because I take my time listening and attentive to each individuals needs. An achievement that I am proud of would be that I am in two honor societies through Vernon College, Phi Theta Kappa and National Society of Leadership and Success, due to my 4.0 GPA. I recently got accepted into their nursing program but have decided to transfer to University of Texas at Arlington to pursue my BSN instead of an Associates,
