About Sharilyn

Since being young I have always enjoyed helping and caring for others. While working in a care center with mentally ill adults for 17 years, I loved the ability to provide normalcy and genuine healthy friendships to the clients I served. I am the type of person who shows up to work and offers a high level of care at which I would desire if in their position one day. To me, it is important that no matter what disability, each person is treated with dignity, respect, and encouraged to be as independent as possible. I am proud that through my 17 years of caring for others, I have acquired great ability to communicate and have understanding with others who have difficulty expressing needs & emotions.
