I became a caregiver because I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others in need. My grandmother was diagnosed with Dementia/Alzheimer's at the young age of fifty-five. I watched my beautiful grandmother who was full of life a woman who cared and loved her family. To watch my grandmother deteriorate and lose her memory and soon she did not know any of her family.. she always knew who I was for some reason she would call me her angel. The pain and hurt I felt that my grandmother could not live a normal life anymore. Me and my mom cared for my grandmother.. my grandmother passed away a few years later due to amonia. So I devoted my life to help others...I believe in my heart that care giving is my calling it feels so right!! I attended Long Beach City College to become a CNA. I did my internship in Long Beach at Broadway By The Sea.. I received my license for CNA. I was offered a job. I have been nursing since 2003. After I went on to school to receive my license for a HHA working in the home caring for the elderly. I have been employed with Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital since 2008 I love the elderly!!! I love helping the elderly. I love when I can make a difference in a patient life . I have a great personality.. Always giving 100% when caring for your love one. I am a wife,mother of four,and a grandma of eight beautiful grandchildren who I love dearly . I understand what it means to want the best care for your love one.
