About Paola

I love what I do to take care of the elderly. I simply prefer working with the elderly because I think of them if they are my own grandparents and give them lots of love, patience, conversate, making them laugh and having a bond because at the end of the day I see them as being part of family. I have worked in a convalescent facility, a non medical agency and private care because I pride myself to give the best care possible. I have experience on g-tube, changing gauzes, trachea, ventilator, suctioning, grooming, dressing, bathing, changing inner cannulas and transfers via hoyer lift or by myself. I also, have experience with diabetes, Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's disease, COPD, stroke and hospice care. Have worked with bed bound and ambulatory patients. About myself, I am a CNA, IHSS certified, possess a CPR, have certificates on Medical Terminology and Physical Therapy Aide and I have an Associate degree. I am a proud mother of two young boys. Also I have a Restorative Nursing Assissant and going for Home Health Aide License and eventually becoming RN. I prefer working night shifts from 10pm to 6am or early shifts from 6am to 2pm or 12 hour shifts.
