Hello! I just moved to LA from Nashville, TN and am looking for some part-time work to supplement my other job. I'm responsible, trustworthy, and full of love and compassion. I'm good at and enjoy cleaning, and have experience working with an agency as an at-home caretaker. My favorite part of the job was providing companionship. I discovered my love for seniors when I was in elementary school and volunteered at nursing homes with my girl scout troop. That passion has only grown as I've gotten older. I was once a licensed CNA, so I've had all the hands-on training, but it's the close relationships with my clients that inspire me. I'm happy to listen to their stories, play a card game, take them to a movie or simply sit with them and keep them company. I just have an enormous amount of respect for the elderly, and it's important to me to do what I can to make their lives easier. I love to declutter and organize, as well. One of my favorite projects was clearing out and reorganizing a huge closet that had been stuffed from floor to ceiling with clothes. When it comes to organizing, I love a challenge like that. So if your loved one is a hoarder, I'm your girl! A few other skills I have: I minored in Spanish in my few semesters of college and still remember the basics. I'm currently CPR/first aid certified and used to be a licensed CNA (expired in 2017). Some more info about me: Aside from hanging out with seniors and organizing, I also like music, chocolate, yard sale shopping, reading, playing the ukulele and making collages. I have a newfound love for vintage clothing and run my own online resale store. It started as a hobby and has developed into a profitable little side job. My current work schedule is 3-930 Mondays and Wednesdays, 11-730 Saturdays, and 3-730 Sundays. I can work any time around those hours. I'm flexible about location and rates, and grateful for any opportunity. Thanks!
