What makes me a great caregiver is my compassion for my patients. I am very patient and always make sure they feel comfortable! When I was 12 my mom had a knee replacement and I would help bathe her and take her to the restroom! As well as feed her and make sure she was always okay and had everything she needed! Which is was attracted me to be a caregiver! What I enjoy most is building bonds with my patients and getting to know more about them which also makes the job easier, and also helps them have more trust with me providing care. A person al achievement for me would definitely have to be working in a subacute unit!
