I've come to find that I am best suited for this work. I have the personality, compassion, and patience for this career. In my most recent position, I have found it to be a spiritual journey and a sacred labor. Caregiving gives my job meaning. Besides being a trained professional actor, I have found that caregiving gives my life real purpose. I am proud of my last position. My client, who became my friend - and his wife, became like my second family. I was able to build a strong relationship with them, and I was told that my work was of great comfort and help to them toward the end of my client/friend's life. Furthermore, I was pleased to become employee of the month for the agency I was with at the time, and am still being considered for employee of the year. I used to be a theatre actor and I like to entertain people and make them laugh. If I can bring joy to someone's life it always makes me happy.
