I am very compassionate and aim for keeping patients comfortable as much as possible. Always keep good communication with the patient for us both to have an understanding. I became a CNA because I love to help and care for people in need that are not able to do their ADL's . I enjoy putting a smile on residents face and making them feel good no different than an average person. I am proud to help with recoveries. That's the best feeling ever from someone not walking to walking again back to doing there ADL's. Also toileting, people that has bladder control problems and you train them to becoming continent.

I love taken care of sick people, because as a child was brought up in a family of nurses, both my mother and aunt are nurses. Growing up in that environment and seeing how much they love what they do every day is both inspiring and motivating me. I love the challenges and passion they had for their jobs. I'm proud to continue the tradition of nursing in my family. Above all, knowing that I'm truly making a difference in people's lives is what truly makes it all worthwhile. I'm very proud of my ability to really listen to what a patient is telling me. Nothing frustrates patient more than feeling as though they're not being heard. Having spent some time with acute patient, has shown me just how far actively listening can go in helping make someone comfortable. I'm a motivated self-starter who really enjoys the hands-on and human aspect of our industry. To me, there's nothing more satisfying than helping people out when they need it the most. Having spent the past few month in the medical field working directly with patients has shown me just how far actively listening to a patient can go in helping make someone comfortable. My most recent position included working with patient directly in admissions which meant I was often the first face they'd see when they came in and the last on their way out as well as everything in-between. In that time, I learned that addressing their concerns and making sure they felt their voices were being heard was just as important to them as receiving quality care.
