I became a caregiver over 20 years ago. It Began with my next door neighbor needing help caring groceries from a taxi to her house. She was a senior who was deaf and did not know sign language and she took care of her daughter who had cerebral policy. I began a relationship and help transport to market to doctors appointment. IHSS paid for care and it allowed me to continue care for her and her daughter. Over the years she passed and I took the responsibility of her daughter in my home full time. She lost the battle to cancer and I took care of her till her last breath. I always Had compassion for others helping as much as possible and since then i been working as a caregiver since. I had made a Promise to the woman that was deaf, that I would never leave her daughter in a convalescent home. I am Proud to say I kept that promise. Now I feel I can still help others and I am willing to do what it takes to achieve those goals.
Hi, My name is Laura and I make a great caregiver because I have a lot of patience, care, respect, and I love to give to the elderly community. I started working as a caregiver with my fanily members first then I worked as a private caregiver in 2014 and until now I have gained a lot of experience. I believe that my expertise and great companionship makes my work be the best. I am reliable and very gentle with my work to treat my elderly with a lot of care and prevent pain when assisting them to transfer out of bed and to restroom. I have my associates in Psychology and therefore helping others out os my passion. I like knowing that I can make a difference in someone's life because it's an amazing feel. I am trustworthy, people's person, positive, very enthusiatic, great hearted person. Please consider me to take care of your loved one. Thank you for your time. Best regards, Laura
I have a lifetime of experience being a caregiver beginning with my own daughter who had a brain tumor at the age of five and the again at ten. After surgery I was required to be with my daughter full-time to take her to therapy and help with her overall recovery. I found during this time that giving unconditionally is one more rewarding gifts I could give. I love bringing a smile to a client's face or discovering a new fact about the person's life. I love learning new things and I'm always open to life and all that it has to bring facing each day with a smile and the hope that I can make someone's life brighter by being a part of their day. I have worked with two other companies in the past as a caregiver as well. My personal and professional experience has given me the skills I need to be a giving, compassionate and knowledgeable caregiver.
I am a caring, patient, and trustworthy person. I can be a great companion; I like to have conversations. I like to read to people if they like. I can lift most patients in and out of a bath tub/wheelchair/car. I enjoy being helpful to others. I saved my daughter's life. I also completed photography school.
What makes me a great caregiver is my genuine compassion for others. My understanding and passion makes me motivated to give my best effort to be a wonderful caregiver. I chose to be a caregiver because I have a special interest and care for the elderly population. My experiences a a caregiver have taught me the meaning of treating every person with dignity and respect. An achievement that I am proud of is graduating from UC Irvine with my Bachelor's degree in only 3 years.
My passion is what makes me great being a caregiver, I become a caregiver since when my grandfather passed away, Because I was the one who takes care of him when I was young at the age of 14yrs old. What I like about being a caregiver is I get to help people, because I like helping people that is seeking for help and after helping them then when they appreciate my help and tell me that their satisfied everytime I help them. That makes me happy and proud to myself. because I've handled most of different types of cases already in this field. and so far all of them are satisfied, for 9 years experience I have no complaint or whatsoever from all my previous clients. That's what makes me proud being a caregiver.
I became a caregiver because of the love i have for more grandmother who was not able to walk nor take care of herself as she use to. I was compelled to take care of her and show her the love and support she gave me growing up. Everything she did was out of pure love, so before she past i gave her nothing but that. I am a great caregiver because of my commitment to helping people who cannot help themselves and rely on others for their day to day care and support. I look at every client as i looked at my own grandmother, with love and compassion. I am also CPR AED FIRST AID CERTIFIED
