Why did I become a caregiver? I became a caregiver because of my desire to help others especially the elderly. My passion and dedication for seniors is very important to me. Nothing brings me great pleasure in assisting people that are in need of some care. My greatest achievement in life are my children. I am a mother of four and a grandmother of six. Teaching my children to respect and help others gives me the satisfaction that when in some giving time I need help, they will assist me just like I assist and care for others in the same manner. I'm not just a caregiver but a friend and if God gave me the patience, understanding and caring way to help others than I am here for that. God bless you and hope to assist anyone in need.
My name is Judi... I have had a wonderful life with several successful careers. It's time for me to give back to those in need with respect, dignity, caring, love and a light heart. Being a Grandmother to 11 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren brightens my day along with my 2 wonderful dogs Winnie and Sinatra... Significant losses in my life has taught me compassion, empathy and the ability to keep calm in critical situations. I will care for your loved one as if they were a cherished member of my family. I look forward to meeting with you to see if we are a good fit for your needs and situation. Regards to you

I have been a registered nurse for 22 years. I have worked at a variety of nursing jobs during this time. For the last 7 years I have been taking care of my elderly father-in -law, who recently passed at the age of 94. I truly cherished my time as his caregiver. I feel I am an excellent caregiver with a wide range of experience , a nurturing personality and am very patient with people. I am confident that I can communicate and gain rapport with the client and their family members. I am a good listener, very responsible, and dependable. I am seeking the opportunity to provide your loved one with a caring and safe invironment!
Care Giver, Personal Care Assistant, Medical Assistant Ii, EKG Technician, Excellent Driver & Cook. I have worked in the medical field for many. Most of my patient have been seniors. I love working with seniors . They are intelligent, great sense of humor & a joy to have around. I treat all of my patients with dignity & respect that they deserve. I love what I do for a living.
Caregiving has always come second nature to me. I remember intuitively rubbing my grandmother's back and feet at a very young age, because of how much discomfort she was in and wanting to relieve her from all her aches and pains. I learned early on that simply engaging in conversation or encouraging my grandmother to go on walks, would alleviate much of her pain and boost her spirits almost instantaneously. As, I grew older I took on many volunteering and paid jobs to assist, care, and provide companionship to children with disabilities, the elderly, and terminally ill patients. What I enjoy most about caregiving is the ability to connect with the person and build a trustworthy friendship . My biggest personal achievement is, I have turned my passion for caregiving into my career goal which is to become a Medical Doctor.

Besides my experiences, I know that I am always a caregiver because I love helping people not only for my love ones but also to someone who is needing my help which I did as long as I could and I always do things from my heart. I mostly love being around with the elderly people because they inspires me in a lot of ways. And I choose to be a Caregiver for the elderly ones because of my parents..My Mother has Dementia and my Father is blind and bedridden for 3 years .We are poor and my role is the breadwinner of the family back home in the Philippines... I worked for an airline company based in Germany and I took the responsibility of taking care for their medications, doctors, food etc, And the only time that I will be able to physically take care of them is when I got my vacation which is not enough ..but I can't stay longer away from my job since nobody would take care for the rest of their needs. My father passed away in July 2010..I went home for his burial and stayed for another 5 weeks so I can take care of my Mother. 2 months later she also passed away. I lost my parents in the same year and that was one of the most difficult time I had...I knew that they will be gone one day because of their condition . But when it happened I felt the pain and emptiness of having no parents ...that one day I will come home without them. This is why I switched my career from airline job to nursing elderly people because doing this will give me the opportunity to continue caring for my beloved parents...They are my inspiration. And its a great pleasure for me to be given the chance to share my honest compassionate care to your love ones.

I love what I do! I love making a difference in someone's life - if I can make them laugh or smile then I've done my job! If I can get my clients out of the house for shopping, appointments or even lunch then I'm helping them help me! I love making new friends & having everlasting friendships with my clients and their families! For the past 3 years I've been a caregiver for my neighbor's dad (he's 97), I was his morning caregiver (he had round the clock caregiving), I fed him breakfast and lunch, took him to church / bingo every Monday, we did his errands during the week and Fridays we did the library. I really love my job as a caregiver!
