I love to consider myself an amazing caregiver! I care very deeply for my clients and loved ones! Most in my line of work are going to RN school. Not me I love my job! This is my calling. To be here for my clients in the best comforting loving way possible is what I strive for. But also know when the keep talking and do it comes in with our agitated clients. I am very experienced with aggression and alhtizmer, dementia and many more factors of this final stage of life! . I'm extremely proud to say I have never had a client or family member not like me. I am very approachable and easy to get along with. I also read people very well. Most of the time lol. Thank you for your time and consideration have a blessed day 2092304001
I first became a Caregiver through our county in-home care services program. I was able to build wonderful relationships with several of my clients and remain with them for many years. When my father was diagnosed with Parkinson's I began caring for him. At first it was simply checking in on him once or twice a week, then spending weekends with him, and eventually sharing his full-time care with my daughter. It was always my father's desire to remain in his home of 64 years. In August my father passed away. I am proud of the fact that I was able to give my father what he wanted most at the end of his life. It has given me an even greater heart for providing in-home care so that seniors can remain in their home and experience the quality of life they deserve.
I started working in a convalescent hospital at the age of 18. I became a CNA at the age of 19 and have been working as a nurse ever since. 20 years later I have learned many things about life, but the most important one is that.. life is precious and at the end of my day I know that I have done for another what they couldn't do for themselves. I take care of someone the way I would want someone to care for me when I no longer can for myself.
I am a very patient and caring individual, I have been a caregiver most of my life, from which I grew up with 9 brothers and sister whom I became second mother to. I also maintained my own day care center as well for a few years (for Children). I cared for my Grandmother, my Father and my husband, whom I cared for over 10 years, I was able to get him off of statin and blood pressure drugs by using nutrition and natural herbs, I am a self educated herbalist and I sometimes do basic protocols for minor ailments (only if asked). I began teaching myself about the herbs when I was diagnosed with cancer, at which I am an 18 year survivor.
Hello! A little about me..... I was raised by my Grandparents on a Ranch so I am no stranger to hard work and good manners. I've been in the care giving field from the age of 22. At an early age I wanted to become a Veterinarian but when my Great Grandmother was diagnosed with cancer I found myself by her side every step of the way. After a summer of being her personal help I realized that caregiving came easy to me for a reason and decided to help others as well. Some of my greatest achievements of being a caregiver is being able to give people their freedom back. [?]
