I am the mother of sons, 12, the wife of a Gulf War Infantry Combat Veteran of the Marine Corps.,and a Grama of 7 boys! And we're just getting started. I am a current senior caregiver working Monday through Friday, caring for a client for the last 2 1/2 years . I usually have long term clients. I am available for respite on Saturdays and Sundays booking 2 weeks in advance. I enjoy working with seniors and feel they have a lot to teach if given the chance and a willing interested party to interact with. As a senior caregiver I feel interaction with clients is as important as the medication management, nutritional care or any other care they would need, personal contact and companionship is important to a persons mental health and that is directly connected to a persons physical health.
