What are your personality traits or expertise that help you be a great caregiver? *Being a great caregiver means you have to be able to utilize all of your skills and abilities to provide the best care. With my over 10 years of experience in geriatric care, healthy dieting, safe physical activity, med compliance, I have been able to do just that. What attracted you to being a care giver? *My heart for wanting to provide the best care for those who have experienced so much in their lives is what attracts me to being a caregiver. Additionally, I have learned that my ability to be observant, compassionate and a great listener have been vital to the success of my caregiving career. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? *Spending time with my clients, being there for them when they are in need, and applying my vast array of skills to my profession are without a doubt what I enjoy most about being a caregiver. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? *Becoming a mother is by far my greatest accomplishment. Although I'd like to think that the skills that I have acquired have allowed me to be a great caregiver to my clients, it is apparent that they have also allowed me to be the best parent that I can be as well.

I have worked as a care Provider for 15 years with the elderly.I enjoy the work because it is rewarding to me and also challenging,you get out of it what you put into it,you have to love the elderly first of all,you must be very patient and understanding,but most of all it takes alot of compassion.You are dealing with people,who have put into society,who have finally come to a point in their lives where they are in need of our help,to take care of them,and to let them know that they still do make a difference and are very important in society still. We can learn a great deal from these people and make a positive impact in their lives. ,they have alot to teach us with there wisdom and knowledge .And when you are dealing with the elderly,you are dealing with their illness also,and thats whats very important.
