About Karla

Hello! I began care-giving for my grandmother at a very young age. She was my world. She had type 1 diabetes and cancer. I went w/her to all of her clinic appt's, made her breakfast and lunch, and gave her insulin shots twice daily. I always attended senior community clubs & due to that interaction I have always felt connected to the elderly. They inspire me and I find all of their stories amazing. I have Volunteered in Hospice. I was a caregiver for a 96 year old woman with dementia, diabetes, and cancer. I recently worked for a 46 year old female that had surgery complications and was bed ridden. She is well now and a good friend of mine.I enjoy caring and loving and spending quality time with people, especially those in need. We are all in need at some point in our lives and how beautiful it is when we have someone there for us. Someone we can trust and depend on. I am very mature for my age, respectful, and have alot of common sense. Your loved one will be safe with me.

His wife had dementia, Heart complications, diabetes & Cancer. everyday it was routine to wake her up and get her started for the day.walk her everywhere including the bathroom, diaper changes, sponge baths, I brushed & flossed her teeth, brushed her hair, light breakfast for her her husband and their 65 year old son that has a mental disorder.checked her sugar levels, maintained a healthy diet for her, medication management, also made sure her day was as normal as can be. Played her favorite tunes and watched her favorite shows with her. Made sure she was comfortable and well cared for.
