Hello my name is Diana De La Cruz I have been a CNA/RNA for almost 2 years now . I have worked in different kinds of facilities to get experience working with all kinds of patients . As a CNA I had the pleasure to work with multiple patients at a time but why I had the interest in becoming a caregiver is I had the experience to work with a 1:1 months ago and found it amazing that I can take my time taking care of a patient with better quality and I also gained an amazing companionship with my patient. I also strongly believe when they have direct care and attention their health begins to better. I got to witness in the beginning from his health that was declining to his health rising up as soon as he wasn't alone anymore. My favorite thing about caregiving is creating a bond. I love building bonds with people and it is possible to create one better as a caregiver . It gives a more assurance and the patients gets used to seeing the one person over again. Patients also gain trust and are more comfortable with something they're used too. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is the complete knowledge that I have gain as a health care worker and the ability to make families happy and feel comfortable with caring for there love ones.
