Hi! My name is Alanya and I'm happy you came across my profile. I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and received my training from Long Beach City College's nursing assistant program and applied those skills at a assisted living facility in Long Beach, CA. I'm a licensed vocational nursing (LVN) student who enjoys helping out others. I just recently graduated from a volunteer program at a Long Beach hospital and loved every second of it during my two years there. I have volunteered in Med/Surg, Passages (a mental health program for elderly outpatients), and in the Emergency Room. My duties on those floors were feeding, bathing, changing, ambulation, and even talking to patients. I am currently working part-time as a CNA at a local agency helping the elderly community and I love it. I can be there for your loved one and provide him or her with the care they need.
