Hello, my name is Meagen and I have been a Caregiver to geriatric residents for the past almost two years. I first started as a caregiver to my grandmother and then got a job at a retirement facility working as a home health aide to residents who needed help with their every day activities such as getting dressed in the morning, and getting ready for bed at night, oral hygeine, bathing, medication reminders, socialization, etc.. I currently am in school as well to become a Registered Nurse. I am also certified in CPR. I love helping people in any way I can to help make their every day tasks more achievable and stress-free. Making people smile is what I strive to do.

I am Certified Home Heath Aide, Nurses Assistant, CPR Certified, 12 years Hospice experience excellent references, car, Insurance and a perfect record. I became a caregiver for my Grandfather, Grandmother and Father 10 years ago, I also went to school to be a CNA and CHHA and I have been working for VNA of California, Hospice, Since 12/27/05. I am very experienced and enjoy working with people that need me. I am very flexible with my days and hours. I will clean, cook, personal care, vital signs, catheter care, colostomy care, aroma therapy, and ROM. I am friendly and love to take care of the elderly. I was 39, my family needed my help(Grandfather) Grandmother and father) I moved out to Yucca Valley, Went back to school to become a CNA and CHHA while, cleaning carpets in Palm Springs and private duty care giving and taking care of my Grandfather (dementia) Grandmother (stroke) and my Father (cancer, alcoholism, and dementia) they have all past away and I proudly and willingly took care of all 3 while going to school and working.
