I became a nurse simply because I like helping people feel better, and let them know that they matter. As a kid, my Mother was a diabetic and often ill. So I just wanted her to feel better. So as a child, there was only so much I could do. If make my bed, read her stories doing and dance just to make her smile. When I was old enough to do go to nursing school, I did so I could learn how to care for her medically. And honestly, it was the BEST thing, I've done. Im proud, I was able to care for her, keep her comfortable, and on top of her diagnosis. Sadly, my Mom is in Heaven now, but the passion to help others continues.
