My grandmother almost died when I was 14 years old. She ended up having a urostomy and fecal bag. She needed help when she returned home as she had lost a lot of weight and had to learn to apply her urostomy everytime it leaked. Later on in her years she needed a bit more care. I love being able to help others maintain their life style and I learn from them as well. I am most proud of raising my son to be a caregiver as well. As a single mom raising him was my number one priority. He has grown into a young man who is a father, husband and a nurse. I am a loyal friend/ person, very dedicated and hard working. I've worked 2 jobs since my son was 8 years old.
