It is with great enthusiasm that I seek to be part of a caregiving team. I have been a registered nurse for 20 years; Most of that time has been spent serving students ages 4-18 years old in a school-based setting. Among my many roles is working with medically fragile children, providing for their specialized healthcare procedures during the course of the school day. I have been privileged to work with children from all racial and socioeconomic groups, advocating to ensure that they receive the proper resources, supports, and accommodations. I believe that I am a viable candidate because of my dedication, compassion, and hard work ethic. I am particularly proud to have received the "Golden Apple Award" in 2016 from Long Beach Unified School District in recognition of the work that I do as a nurse on behalf of the students. Though my work experience has primarily been with school-aged children, I am open to working with patients of all ages.
