I became a Caregiver because this occupation struck me as an appropriate opportunity when I first moved here from Brazil. Being a Caregiver offers me a chance to be a positive addition to an elder's life and also I enjoy getting to know each individual's unique perspective of life. My most valuable personal achievement has been raising my two children into model young adults. I moved to the U.S. in 1990. I have a science major from Brazil. I currently attend Canada College in order to get my teaching credentials. I work part-time as a preschool teacher in Belmont. I consider myself to be a reliable, responsible, patient, and compassionate companion. I enjoy arts, music, dance, and movies. I also enjoy reading, gardening, cooking, sewing, beading, yoga and exercising. I am bilingual, CPR certified, and have a clean driving record.
