About Simone

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am very patient and compassionate. I treat my clients/ patients with dignity and respect. I am gentle and always have a smile and will do anything necessary for the upmost care possible. I became a caregiver because when I was in high school, my mother became ill and diagnosed with systemic Lupus and high blood pressure. She uses 24 hour oxygen and needs help with care. I learned to care with her at a young age and ever since then I have been a caregiver and giving quality of care to all seniors. What I like about caregiving is that I am able to change someone life by being there for support and companionship. I like to know that I am a helping hand and able to touch someone's lives daily. A personal achievement that I m proud of is that I am an LVN graduate and I am awaiting to take state boards when I am ready. Until then I love caregiving and I will still do caregiving after I am licensed

I became a caregiver in August 2009 for my father, Brian. After a series of tests my father was diagnosed with early - stage of cancer. I have always taken care of my father because my mother was never around to provide support to the family. His condition is still in the early stages, but I am worried about the future. This situation brought my father and I closer. His condition has made me realize that this is career move that I wanted to peruse. I am not a caregiver by career but by choice. I am a caregiver that truly cares about helping others and want to make a difference in the lives of seniors and their families. I am caring, punctual, respectful, outgoing, honest, patient, professional and organized.
