I am recent graduate RN from Sonoma State University. I am beginning a second career in nursing after working for years in science at the university level (both research and teaching). While completing my prerequisites for nursing school, I worked as a CNA in a local facility. I provided care to seniors and post-acute rehab residents, and I loved it! I assisted residents with mobility and activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming and eating. I worked with residents affected by conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's, dementia, COPD, recent surgery, and cancer. I believe that each individual deserves respect, patience and a little bit of humor every day. I am available for part-time work assisting you or your loved one. My schedule is very flexible right now, I am available for backup care, vacation respite care, or regular part time care.
