My name is Margaret and I am actively seeking a caregiving position. I have been with my current client for 3 1/2 years but the time has come to make a change. I am a Dementia and Alzheimer's specialist. I am experienced in Memory Care. Memory Care clients are my favorite people in all of healthcare! Though my first pick is with the Dementia and Alzheimer's clients, I have had other clients with other conditions, such as, stroke, diabetes and congested heart failure etc.. In 2011 when my ex mother in law became sick I became one of her caregivers. It was then that I realized how much I enjoyed caring for her. I do believe this is my calling. I was once offered a position as manager of a home health company. I did not think I could do that job. I was right because I need to be the caregiver not the office person. I love my job. I like everything about caregiving. I love my seniors. I love their stories and their laughter. I'm happy when they are happy. I look forward everyday to seeing my seniors. I love cooking, cleaning and fussing over my seniors, so I'm a natural at caregiving. Remember if you love what you do it's never a job. My fee starts at $25 an hour. My fee increases if the shift is split. Also would like employer to pay a share of taxes. I am currently working for $24 an hour but I am not so sure that after 36.5 months it's working. So money is not the deciding factor for me. If you are looking for an experienced Alzheimer and or Dementia CNA , I could be the one!

I'm a very well rounded healthcare provider for 21 years now. Most of my experience has been within a post acute rehabilitation hospital working as a CNA. I have years of hands on experience in many different areas of care from adolescents to the elder population. From basic companion care to medically complex. Assisting individuals with different ailments and disabilities, mental health, spinal rehabilitation quadriplegia/paraplegia, spinal decompression to name a few. For the past 12 years I've been providing in home health independently, as well as working with medical registries to keep my skills up to date and CNA certification current. I chose in home care apose to the hospital enviornment because home health gives an individual the peace of mind to go at their own pace comfortably and to heal peacefully with reliable home health support. I take great pride in the care I provide. I have excellent references and letters of recommendation. I'm established in the general Sacramento area including letters of recommendation. I'm registered with the State of California Home Care Registry. I have current BLS/CPR certification and COVID vaccinated and booster through Sacramento County. I'm a very compassionate, attentive, reliable self starter of whom will always go above and beyond.
