Hello there, my name is Jamaeca. I have a deep love for working with the elderly population in my community. I have paid experience caregiving for adults with demential and incontinence. I also have experience dressing, bathing, housekeeping, mediation prompting, and transfers. l love being a point of contact, providing quality care, and truly feeling needed. In the past year, I received hands-on training in caregiving from Sequoia Senior Solutions. (an in-home caregiving agency) This time intensive training heavily covered topics of first aid, safety, incontinence, bathing, demential/Alzheimers care, Hoyer lifts, bed transfers, standard and bed transfers, bloodbourne pathogens, as well as caregiver self care. At the end of this training I was given the Certified Companion Aide (CCA) certificate, designated from The Seniors Choice.. I am excited to bring my heart into the homes of your loved ones.
