About Alexandria

My name is Alexandria Bell, I often go by the nickname of Alex. I am a very friendly person and I love meeting new people and making the best of every experience I go through in life. I decided to become a caregiver three years ago because I really wanted to make a difference in peoples lives as quickly as I could at the time. I have been a type 1 diabetic for 15 years, so I am pretty familiar with medical needs of that sort, so I thought I would give caregiving a shot. I also think that is one of the things that makes me a good caregiver. The fact that I have lived with an auto-immune disease for so long, really gives me a better understanding. That, and the fact that I am also a very patient and thorough person. I know how to get the job done. I understand that things take time, and I also take pride in completing my tasks with all my effort and love. What I love most about being a caregiver, is the fact that I can be a friend and helper to people in need. I also really love hearing the stories of my patients and I love the fact that people can open up to me pretty easily. I have achieved the knowledge of respecting all people and really understanding that their is more to people than meets the eye. I am also proud that I have maintained such great health, despite being diabetic for 15 years.
