A little background about me, I am a Licensed Practical Nurse with an extensive experience in the healthcare setting. I held different types of nursing positions from being a charge nurse, which allowed me to provide hands on patient care, to a managerial position where I was able to lead and be a preceptor and a mentor to other staff members. I also took on a position as a nurse care coordinator for the Army Medical Command where I worked with active duty Army personnel to help manage their care and recovery from an injury/ surgery and help them return to full duty in a timely manner. After moving to Japan on August 2016, I stumbled upon a position in the Occupational Medicine department as an Occupational Health Tech. Although my position was not a nursing position, I find many ways to still help all the patients who comes in the clinic. I am very passionate, energetic and put all my effort and time in everything I put my mind into. I commit to every mission and tasks that have been assigned to me. With this being said, my passion in helping others have led me to want to pursue my RN,BSN degree, as I know that with better education and training, I will be able to provide the highest quality care for the patients I take care of. I am in the process of applying for a Nursing school when we settle in San Diego. I am a seasoned licensed practical nurse with 10 years experience. I am confident with my experiences and am ready to provide the best care I can give to all the patients I encounter.
