Hello my name is Katherine and I've been in the home care business for 30+ years and liked compassion and care because that's what it's all care and compassion for the people you taken care of and you care for them like your family and I have done it all my life. I've worked in the medical field as it in EMT for 17 years and I've taken care of people with special need too.
I very much love being a caregiver, I'm a happy person, always smiling! I'm really responsible, and an easy going person. I have many letters of recommendation from my clients. I am responsible I always show up 10 minutes early to discuss with the family or the Client of any changes .
I am a great caregiver because I have six years of in-home care experience. Working with the elderly is especially rewarding and the personal one on one connection is the the part I feel is the most important. A normal day for me is spending time cooking, grooming, medication reminders, bathing, transportation and ensuring the comfort and well-being of the families I work for. I have experience with patients with long term illness as well as experience with hospice care. Now it's a passion of mine to give back and help someone else in need. Please private message me with any questions you may have. Thank you, Meaghan

1) I absolutely love helping others and I am earning a degree to make this my career. 2) Knowing that I am the reason they have a smile that day or knowing that I am making their life a little easier just by me being there to help with any need they will have at that moment. 3) An achievement I am proud of is building my house into a home. I never had a family to learn how to be a wife and mother so me making nothing out of something is the biggest achievement I am highly proud of. 4) Well, I am a stay at home mom right now with my first child. He is now a toddler and I'm ready to get back into a field that I love doing. I am a hard worker and I am very dedicated and motivated. I have a lot of energy (especially with at toddler) and I am ready to enter into the work field again.
I have been a professional Caregiver for six years. I feel I am an excellent caregiver! I am very friendly, easy to get along with, stable, compassionate, caring and conscientious. I take excellent care of my clients, making sure they are well tended to, clean and hair done (if asked), all for the benefit of their sense of pride and feelings of well-being. I've had 15 years' experience working in the medical field in many capacities: sec'ty, receptionist, phlebotomist, surgical assisting, EKG's, chest x-rays, etc., and held the position of medical transcriptionist, both in two hospitals and medical offices. All the above skills were taught me personally by the physician's for whom I worked. I have a clean driving record and have a large car with ample room for a walker (if required). Respect is one of my very top priorities when treating a patient! Their comfort, level of dignity and independence is very important for me to provide. I have been a caregiver for over six years now, and have letters of recommendation attesting to my expertise in this field. Sincerely, Sherry Stuurman
