I love what I'm doing and I take good care of my client either male or female. They are like family and having them together as my parents as well. It's all about family loving and respect for each other 100%. I like to make jokes and watch my client laugh and I want my client to be happy every single day.If there's a problem like falling or anything else my job is to report to the family first. That's my first option to let the family know what happens. My client is more important than anything else and that's how i care about my client. 100% I do everything it takes to make sure that he or her take their medicine on time every day. 7days a week that's very important to have he or her to take their bills, I do exercise every day but it depending on how often he or her needed their exercise, I also do everything like shower, change diaper and fix meal three time a day and also I clean all around the house and wash laundry. My job is taking good care my client and making them happy. I always make my client look clean every day for visiting. If there's anything else that needs to be fixed I'm comfortable to fix right away or anything else that need to be done! So that's how I handle my client 100% working together forever! Put a smile on their faces all the time leaving as a happy client.

I am a 61 year old lady and an older mom with a daughter (16 yrs) and son (23 yrs). I've been doing caregiving for over 20 years. For the last 2 1/2 years, I worked with clients with Alzheimer's and I feel very comfortable in working getting their needs met, while helping them feel safe and reducing anxiety. With becoming a caregiver, I had just finished my first semester of R.N. school when my mom and first husband both died of cancer (25 days apart) and I was needed to care for my father as his grieving made him unable to care for himself. I then, to assist me with my own grief, started to help care for others, first with hospice, then went on to caregiving for people in their homes. I love caregiving because helping people (especially older folks) brings joy and comfort to me. The trust that clients and families give to me is humbling and rewarding. Again, working with clients who have Alzheimer's takes a special place in my heart, but I love helping anyone in need. If you will try me out as a caregiver for yourself (or loved one), you will be happy and very satisfied.
