I always strive be strengths based and person centered, allowing those I serve to feel I am encouraging their development as opposed to pointing out their deficits. My passion for this work started when, as a college undergrad, I stumbled into an opportunity to be a home health aid for a man experiencing parapaegia. This passion was then reignited when as a grad student, I worked as a private caregiver for people in an assisted living facility. This work is all about connecting with others in a genuine way, and by building relationship with one another, we can create the opportunity to make the best out of less than ideal circumstances.
