I worked under the supervision of the head RN of the facility. The care that I provided was more of TLC and pampering. I was a caregiver alongside with many CNA and a RN. I kept her turn every two hours to make sure she do not get bed sores. I would get her out of bed and transfer her very safely to and out of shower, toilet, bed, wheelchair. Almost everyday, I fixed her hair and dressed her really pretty. I fed her and stroll her around the facility. I would changed her bed linen every day. Halvor J
I was a caregiver for Inga's husband, Halvor for almost a year. Halvor was discharged from hospital with GTube for feeding. My duties were to give his feeding and medication as scheduled. I helped with morning shower or sponge bath. He had catheta and I empty it as needed and change as needed. Lots of transferring of the client. Transport and accompany Halovor and wife Inga to and from Dr. appointments and hospital visits. Helped with meal preparation for the wife and housekeeping, laundry, showering, bathroom, transporting to appointments and companionship. Other tasks needed ( care for house plants and garden) water the garden.
