Ever since I was little, I can remember I wanted to be in the medical field helping others . I use to play pretend with my grandma and take care of her . As I got older so did my family and I've helped them with illnesses . As an adult I know that caregiving is my life . Knowing that I've helped an individual so that they can stay in their home for a long time gives me so much joy. If I can bring out at least one smile from a client I know that I'm doing my job right . I'm able to handle any situation that can arise with a clear head and positive attitude. I've been caregiving for two years and I've met so many wonderful individuals and I'm grateful for all the learning experience it's given me.
