1. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL's), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transferring and incontinence care. 2. Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals. 3. Providing and ensuring a safe and comfortable place for patient in the work environment. 4. Assist RNs/CNA with administering enemas, douches, nonsterile dressings, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz and therapeutic baths. 5. Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; recording intake and output information. 6. Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor. 7. Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. 8. Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures. 9. Protects organization's value by keeping patient information confidential. 10. Serves and protects the hospital community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.

Positioning residents for comfort and safety. 3. For resident safety, respond to pendant pages as soon as possible, preferably within 3 minutes. 4. Escorting residents to dining or activities as needed. 5. Daily bed making or linen changes, trash pick-up and laundry as needed. 6. Read and initial the daily log when coming on shift. 7. Keep proper documentation records of care on the ADL sheets. 8. Immediately report to your supervisor any changes in condition of residents and record in the daily log. 9. Deliver, set up and pick up trays requested by residents. Return trays to the kitchen.
