About Davina

Being a nurse has been a passion of mine since I was 5 years old. I would be a great care giver because I earned to achieve the next step up. I volunteered at a convalescent home and acute care hospital through out high school. My first healthcare job out of high school was a Home Health Aid where I begun working for a 91 year old blind woman. A few duties I was responsible for included vital signs, medication management and administration, taking her to doctor appointments. I cherished her until her passing 4 years later. While working with her, I went on to earn my CNA, Pharmacy Tech, Phlebotomy Tech, and LVN. After LVN school, I earned my Associates in Registered Nursing, and now working online toward my Bachelor, then Master degrees in Nursing. When it comes to health care jobs, there is no plan B. I want to be a caregiver because it is my life long dream to care for others. I love the fact residents can continue staying in their homes or various hospitals while receiving the best multi-disciplinary care from health care providers. My experiences in various health care settings has assisted me in providing quality nursing care in any environment.

I've been a caregiver all my life. I grew up with my grandmother since I was a little girl. I have learned to be patient and understanding when caring for my clients. The greatest reward I've experienced being a caregiver is always making my clients satisfied of my service, and they look forward to seeing me again.
