I am currently in nursing school, and I believe that the skills I have learned so far will help me be a great caretaker. I enjoy working with people and am passionate about helping and taking care of people. I am a kind, friendly, easy to talk to, down-to-earth. A little about me: I am 23 years old and have been married for two years. My husband and I met while we were attending Arizona State University where we both competed in track and field. Some of my favorite things are running, going to church, and spending time with my family.
X My mother was an R.N. And came home with wonderful stories of the people she cared for. She told me that everyone deserves great and Compassionate Care. I have come to know that there are some people who are naturally compassionate and nurturing. I think it runs in families DNA. My family is one such family. I have always loved listening to older people since I was a child. I derive so much knowledge of life from these people.Nothing feeds my soul and makes me happier than to be able to give compassion and caring help and give a better quality of life to people in need of care. They all have their own stories and so much wisdom is gained from just listening. In turn this gives the patient company and the knowledge that someone cares and is interested in them and that they are valuable and interesting and deserve so much. That's why I became a caregiver If I should be so blessed as to be considered as your caregiver I promise to carefully and compassionately do all that is possible to make life easier for you and your loved one.I have many years of every kind of senior care. From Stroke Heart,Alzheimer's Blindness,Parkinson's ,Diabetes etc.I have many references and a current background report given at interview.Thank you for your consideration.

My personality traits consist of: being confident, easy to talk to, trust worthy, loyal, witty, outgoing, determine, comforting, dedicated, claim under pressure. I believe that all of these traits make me a better team player and a great caregiver. What attracted me to be a great caregiver is in my life many tragic events have occurred. I believe it's what made me who I am today. The first event hit close to home, my grandpa was in the intensive care and I was there with him we'll he was passing away. before he pasted away he told me I would make an excellent caregiver. Another event happened, were a costumer had multiple seizers and I was able to have asses the situation calmly and productively. he received great medial care as I waited for the ambulance to arrive. I helped to the best of my ability. later on he came back one week later, to the store fully recovered and thanked me for helping; to save his life. I knew then that being in the medical was my calling. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is taking care of people and being to help them in there time and need. A personal achievement that I am so proud of is graduating Sanger high school with my certify Nursing Assist License, with my CPR license as well.

Devoting most of my time to the care of someone else is one of the most selfless things someone can do, but it's not only about the time involved. Being able to understand the person you're caring for, knowing their problems, challenges and desires will not only make it easier to care for them, but will undoubtedly improve the relationship you have with each other. Empathy is a big aspect of that, and being able to put yourself in someone else's shoes and be empathetic will only increase the quality of care you're providing. As instrumental as caregivers are, communication is key. It can be something as simple as going through the day's schedule, or complicated as discussing health concerns, but no matter what it is, it must be done well. Subpar communication will do nothing beneficial for the relationship, and in fact, could damage it. Furthermore, as it's likely there's more than one caregiver in the individual's life, and because of all the moving parts, communication is key to get information to all the relevant parties. Whether it's relaying health information or just remaining congenial, communication between caregivers is important, second only to communicating with the individual.

I started working in a nursing home years ago. I loved it. As I have had several life changing events in my life, I have reevaluated what my passion is and what I am good at and have decided that taking care of our elderly is where I can make the biggest impact. I decided to become a in home caregiver because I believe that every person should have the opportunity to stay in their home where they are most comfortable. I believe that each person should have a connection with and be loved by their caregiver. I enjoy the connection, and the support that I provide the families of my clients. I have met and become like family to so many wonderful people and that will impact me for the rest of my life. This is more than a job to me, this is my passion, and even more, it is what I have been called to do. AS A SIDE NOTE, I AM WILLING TO TRAVEL. I HAVE LIVED AWAY FROM HOME FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS AS A LIVE-IN CAREGIVER.
