Hello my name is Lourdes, I'm 33 years old. I am a Filipino. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid, and currently working now as dialysis technician. I had experience in The Californian, Valle Verde skilled facilities and Oakmont Oxnard, having this opportunity to worked with them had made me aware of important things I need to know about caregiving skills. I learned lots of proper ways of giving care to a resident according to their care plan. For me being a CNA/HHA is not only giving care, insuring safety and maintaining their dignity but also being there for them when they need a companionship. I have more patience of dealing dementia. I learned how to handle client base of what care they should need. I am respectful. I always put myself in my resident's situation because I believe nobody wants to be treated badly. I make sure to give my best service to my client. With my own experience the best reward when helping someone is when they appreciate and smile at me.
