Hello, my name is Julie. I became a caregiver when one of my neighbors, who had dementia, needed assistance to stay in the home. I helped her with meals, toileting, dressing, and medication supervision. We did a lot of walking, crossword puzzles, reading the news paper, and other activities. I too, reported back to the family, in writing daily. Once my client progressed in her disease she was moved out of her home and moved to a residential community where she could be watched and cared for on a 24 hour basis. Well, I couldn't let her go! So I followed her. I became a CG for the community she moved to and had been there for almost 4 years. I would love to get back into the client home environment. It is my goal, every day, to provide the best level of care for my client, through love, patients, and understanding. I look forward to caring for your loved one. ... more
