What makes me feel great about being a caregiver is that the client is loyal,and always happy. I am tolerant,patient,humble,able to work with tough clients.I also treat the client like if he or she was like my family.I don't take anything personal.I love my job and I'm patience I'm always nice and courteous I always put their needs first before mine.

I am a very caring considerate of others I enjoy working with the elderly cooking cleaning and being a companion so they never feel alone. My mother had her on board in here and took care of foster children and I enjoyed helping her when needed my achievement is I make people and their family happy and that makes me feel good just knowing I made a difference in someone's life

What makes me a great caregiver is my genuinely love to help and be there. I don't work this field for a paycheck. I love working this field because its who I am. What attracted me to this position as a caregiver was my grandmother. I have always taken care of her and it always made her happy. I never treated her or any of my patients as work. I genuinely loved them all and cared and treated them and looked at them as my extended family. My personality traits are huge personality, very silly when around loved ones or anytime someone is down. I can always make someone who's down smile. I have a very huge heart. I enjoy everything about being a caregiver. Each day of just knowing I've helped someone with each day in there life to make it easier any way that I can is the best feeling. Knowing that I made someone smile and i can help someone in the way is needed without feeling like they cant do it is the best feeling.

My aging mother who suffered from early-onset Alzheimer's first opened my eyes to the challenges of caring for an aging parent. I attended seminars, took courses and got my Nursing Assistant certification to care for her. I learned a lot of patience and tactics for working with the elder population. My grandparents played a tremendous role in my life (whom I also cared for at the end of their long lives) and I have always been very comfortable & fond of elderly, and geriatric people.
