My responsibilities included assisting with personal needs such as toileting ,grooming, dressing, grooming, eating, mobility assistance, bed and wheelchair transfers, emotional support and companionship. I also needed to note any changes in a clients health and report that to a charge nurse and record that information in a care log. I assisted in evacuating our facility and caregiving in the Thomas Fires in November of 2017 in California and also received the employee of the month award in September of 2018. I came to live in New Jersey In Late October with my military daughter and son-in-law to care for her after a serious shoulder surgery.
