I have always known I was meant to care for others, even as a little girl. After high School I went to school and originally earned my Medical Assistant Degree, and began working for a wonderful Family Practice MD for approximately 10 years. During those years, the doctor allowed me time off to obtain my R.N. degree as well. After the 10 years working in the physician's office, I began my career as an Acute Care R.N., in multiple hospitals in Goleta, and Santa Barbara California. I worked for many years as an RN on the Medical/Surgical floor. I had a family, a new husband, had recently moved to a new area in San Diego County and was having increasing physical problems of my own. We decided I would take time away from Nursing, finish raising my family and decide what to do with the remainder of my career. I wanted to work in the administrative area of medicine, and for the past 15 years have worked in the financial, Medical Billing area and , Administrative areas of healthcare. I now want to return to patient care. I have not forgotten what I was taught in Nursing School, my knowledge and skills, my many years of experience caring for patients makes me an excellent choice to care for your loved one. I am looking for a patient for which I can share my skills, be caring, compassionate and help them get through each day hoping it is a better day than the last or at least the very best it could be.
