About Robin

I really love what I do in helping people! I help in ways of daily routine to housekeeping, food preparation, errands and companionship. I am a mature, healthy-young', positive, caring, detailed, focused, down to earth' yet professional lady of 54' years old. I am organized, neat/tidy, helpful, give 110 % to others in need, listen well/learn well and always open to new ways/ideas of doing tasks/hobbies! I follow rules and guidelines given. I love animals and gardening. Conversation is fun and helps to get to know someone-I love to listen as well! I do not have any certifications but will be attending classes this fall or winter:) I am ON SITE trained with IHSS and with my prior Private Care. *I have been interested in/helped others in need since my grandmother took me to work with her at Oceanside Nursing Home on Tybee Island since I was eleven. It was to be my main path in life but I was a single mother (in my 20's) and could not further it when I wished. I did help at Oceanside Nursing Home (dietary to hobbie times) and Fulton County Gov't in Atlanta with the Office of Aging (Administrative Assistant 2000's) in my 30's-40's but the hours were not enough and had to work in other areas of employment to support my daughter.

        I help those in need with daily routines from getting up in the am to medicine reminders/hygiene/dressing/transfers from bed to chair/outings and breakfast (preparing/clean up kitchen, etc.) to lunch. Housekeeping, laundry, gardening and other needed tasks I do. I accompany on Dr.. visits, church and other outings-like to the park). PM's-I help with lunch and dinner (snacks as well) preparing/clean up.. Any showers or hygiene care, ,nightly medicine reminders etc. I can do overnights and weekends:)

        I helped seniors that were visiting with their families on the island. It was a seasonal period of work. I helped with their breakfast or lunch or dinner while the family went to outings that he or she did not wish to go on (or could not attend due to their health conditions). Hygiene, transfers from bed to chair, companionship with inside activities such as TV, reading and porch sittings.
